Duluth Fairey Gannet Airshow

Posted

The EAA’s Airventure Oshkosh the world’s biggest airshow event gave Team Gannet one of the highest accolades informing them they were the hit of their show. The EAA, local and international press/TV covered XT752 gave great coverage of her and the team during the week which was fantastic to see.

Team Gannet continued in being a big hit for Duluth Air Expo on the 23-24th of August being another of the biggest show events during the year.

Friday due to the weather being so bad many aircraft couldn't arrive, however the team managed to find a small hole in the weather and attended as planned. During the whole weekend crowds continued to flock around XT752 asking the team endless questions all day long which was thoroughly enjoyable to be able to share the enthusiasm with the public.

As you can see by the picture taken, the team was inundated with people, and the organizers who had never seen XT752 before were totally amazed how she attracted swarms of people.

I am please to share a nice letter from the airshow director of Duluth about your sponsored Team Gannet.

Very best wishes

Shannan

Please pass on to your Team that it was an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE to host the Fairey Gannet at the 2014 Duluth Air and Aviation Expo. You and your team were very professional every step of the way, the aircraft was incredible, and the crowd loved it. The Gannet was most definitely one of the shows best displays and without question the rarest of the aircraft attending the show. Every time I went by the Gannet display during the day, I could not help but notice the sizable group of people looking at your aircraft. It was very much appreciated that members of your team were always at your display to answer questions about the Fairey Gannet. I heard many positive comments about your aircraft throughout the day as well as after the show by air show attendees.

We look forward to hosting the Fairey Gannet and her team at the 2016 Duluth Air and Aviation Expo.

Thanks Again!

Cheers,

Eric Settergren
