I've only had this unit a week and our power went out. It was nice to see it power up where it was set at. Resetting a battery charger is something you forget about after a power failure.
Sad to say it was unable to revitalize our neglected battery. Not the charges fault.

At the end of the day, it appears that the problem was more with the timer used to reset the battery minder. Expensive lesson, but the product is excellent.

Following some health problems, I had to retire and now my car sits in the garage on most days.
During a cold winter day it started but it sure didn't want to. The battery is over three years old and if I was still working I would replaced it, although it's quite a pain since it's stuffed under the fender.
So I decided to get a battery maintainer first and see if I can get another year out of it if I keep it charged.
I had four manufacturers of maintainer/desulfators to choose from and decided on VDC electronics BatteryMINDer.
So far, so good, for maintaining , you just connect it. It does everything else. Whether or not I get an extra year or so we shall just have to wait and see, but this is obviously much better for the battery to be maintained than to leave it sit in the car being drained by the car's computer and other parasitic loads.
Why did I choose BatterMINDer over one of the other manufacturers you ask?
1. Features
2. Warranty
This model has specific voltage/amp settings for AGM and Odyssey/PLT batteries. The display of LEDs gives you required information but unlike a competitors that uses a "prettier" display, if their display fails you can't use their maintainer.
As I said, time will tell if I made the right choice, but right now I'm feeling pretty good I have not got any complaints except for the shipping department at VDC...they put the BatteryMINDer and the voltmeter loose in the shipping box so that upon arrival at my house, the BatteryMINDer had come out of its packaging and was bouncing around in the box. Really, some old crumpled news paper would have gone a long way at protecting the equipment during shipping. I'm not asking for Styrofoam peanuts or those puffy bags but at least something so that the product doesn't bounce from one end of the shipping box to the other. Fortunately, it doesn't appear any damage was done. But you can't be lucky all the time.

The BatteryMinder 128 CEC1 12v is by far the best battery charger on the market for the price. It was used to bring back Two large battery's to full charge which are used to start a Diesel Motor home saving the expense of new Batteries.

I use this instead of a converter, in my RV...batteries are charging or on float when ever I am plugged into AC. Have used this or your former production for 6 yrs with no problems...

It brought a mostly discharged battery to full voltage overnight, and is still desulfating it. I'll know more in a few months, but several others have said they are pleased with their Battery Minder.
